From June to August 2025, I interned at Techtronic Industries (TTI) in Anderson, SC. TTI is a Hong Kong–based global manufacturing company and a leader in cordless technology, power tools, outdoor power equipment, and floor care products. I worked in the Outdoor Products Department, specifically focusing on riding mowers, as a product manager intern.

My responsibilities included attending meetings with various departments; marketing, engineering, supply chain, accounting, and more; to ensure the product development process remained efficient. I also participated in department-wide meetings where product managers presented their plans for integrating cross-departmental information into development strategies. Simultaneously, I was challenged to develop my own product concept, independently meeting with these departments to gather the resources and information necessary to bring my idea to life, just as a full-time product manager would.

Through both individual meetings with my mentor and departmental meetings, I honed the skills and knowledge required to prepare a product proposal presentation, which I later presented to the company president for assessment. This experience was highly rewarding, allowing me to strengthen existing skills, acquire new ones, and apply them in a professional setting while receiving meaningful feedback.
